My husband is better than your husband :)
So last night, Jeremiah arranged for Jaime and Sean to take Juliana and Jack for a few hours so that he could cook me this for dinner:
Jeremiah recreated the first dinner that he had ever made me when we started dating. He made Thai peanut grilled chicken, fresh asparagus, Thai peanut portabello mushroom caps and Thai noodles. We also had spring mix salad with sliced portabella mushrooms and garlic vinaigrette dressing. (I'm getting a little hungry thinking about it...)Here is the end result:
It was so nice to sit down and have a nice, quiet dinner. There was no spilled juice to clean up or food to vacuum off the floor. And there was especially NO high pitched Jack screams. We loved that part! :)
Its so great to have awesome friends who will sacrifice their evening to take our kiddos for a while. It was a much needed quiet evening.
